60+ Days Before Departure: 30% of the total trip cost is non-refundable. Any additional payments will be refunded.
30–59 Days Before Departure: 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable. Any additional payments will be refunded.
Less Than 30 Days Before Departure: No refunds will be issued.

After a restful night's sleep, start your day with a delicious hot breakfast at the Green Orchid. Spend your afternoon in the Garden, where you can enjoy a special performance by the H.O.T Firey String Sistas, as the garden transforms into a captivating venue that complements the vibrant atmosphere. Conclude your evening with a delightful dinner at our in-house restaurant, offering a perfect ending to your day.
Day 3
Cape Town Day
April 20th, 2026 Monday
Experience the vibrant offerings of Cape Town, beginning with a scenic tram ride to the summit of Table Mountain, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Mother City below. Following this, explore the lively Green Market in downtown Cape Town, where you can browse an array of local crafts, art, and souvenirs. For those interested in fashion, head to Long Street to discover the best in local styles. Take your time to explore the shops or savor a meal at one of Cape Town's renowned restaurants for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the bustling Victoria & Albert Waterfront. Here, you'll gain admission to the Cape Town Aquarium and have the opportunity to shop for any items you might have missed at the upscale mall located there. Your evening will culminate at Gold's Restaurant, where you'll indulge in authentic African cuisine and be entertained by vibrant performances, rounding off a perfect day in Cape Town.

Spend your day exactly as you wish with the assistance of our concierge at the Vida Nova Retreat. They are on hand to organize a diverse selection of activities, ensuring your day is packed with personalized adventures and delightful experiences.
Day 5
Penguins and Cape of Good Hope
April 22nd, 2026 Wednesday
Get ready for an amazing day at the Cape of Good Hope! You’ll cruise along the stunning Chapman's Peak route in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, taking in views of the Twelve Apostles and the Misty Cliffs. Hike up to the Cape Point Lighthouse for a spectacular sight where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Keep an eye out for baboons and ostriches!
On the way back, we’ll stop at Boulders Beach to hang out with adorable African Penguins. Walk the boardwalks to get close to them and even swim in designated areas!
Then, enjoy a wine tasting at Groot Constantia, the oldest vineyard and winery in sub-Saharan Africa. Finally, savor a delicious Portuguese-style dinner at the Chapman’s Peak Hotel while watching the sunset. It’s going to be a fantastic day of nature, wildlife, wine, and great food!

Robben Island

Anticipate an enlightening visit to the significant Robben Island, where you will journey by ferry to the place where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners from the African National Congress were held. Led by former inmates who fought for freedom, you will hear firsthand accounts of their remarkable experiences.
Conclude this memorable day with a specially crafted dinner at the Green Orchid restaurant, providing a delightful end to your historical adventure.

Take advantage of a second day of leisure, with the assistance of the Vida Nova Retreat concierge to craft your own adventure (please note that additional costs may apply). Make sure to return to the hotel in time for a special culinary experience focused on the Braai, a traditional South African method of cooking over fire. The skilled chefs at Vida Nova Retreat have organized an engaging demonstration, where you can discover local cooking techniques.
