Day 1
April 11th, 2026 | Saturday
Rest | Relax | Recharge
You will be met on arrival, and transported to the Vida Nova Retreat. Unwind and relax after your flight in our gardens. Enjoy the dinner of your choice from Vida Nova's Green Orchid restaurant. Sleep in to put the jet lage behind you.
Day 2
April 12th, 2026 | Sunday
Welcome Lunch |Garden Party
Begin your day, as every day, with a hot breakfast. You will see the Hotel's courtyard turned into the venue for Acute Inflection's Garden Party Concert, which will be open to the public. In the evening, enjoy a fine dinner at the Green Orchid.
Day 3
April 13th, 2026 | Monday
Cape Town Day
Your day will begin with a Tram ride to the plateau atop Table Mountain, where the scenary will amaze you. Afterward, you will go to the Mother City itself, see the Green Market where local crafts, art, and souvenirs can be found, or be directed to the clothing shops on Long Street if you want to bring the best in local styles back home. You will have time to wander and shop, or enjoy one of Cape Town's famous restaurants for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go to the Victoria & Albert Waterfront and be admitted to the Cape Town Aquarium, and have time to shop for anything forgot to bring at the high end mall located there. Your evening will be spent at Gold's Restaurant, where you will be treated to authentic African food and entertainment.
Day 4
April 14th, 2026 | Tuesday
"Let Go" Day
Be inspired by Acute Inflections’ hit song, “Let Go” by choosing an activity from your bucket list. Vida Nova Retreat's concierge can arrange for you anything from Art Museums to Shark Cage Diving (your activity cost not included). The concierge knows everything about every option.
Dinner will be at the Green Orchid.
Day 5
April 15th, 2026 | Wednesday
CAPE ADVENTURE -WITH PENGUINS!
Today, you will discover the Cape of Good Hope. You will be driven through the famous Chapman's Peak route through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you will see the Twelve Apostles and the Misty Cliffs, and then enjoy a leisurely hike to the Cape Point Lighthouse, where you can see the Indian Ocean meet the Atlantic. Keep an eye out for baboons, ostriches, and other wildlife.
You will return via the opposite coast where you will stop at Boulders Beach, where you can commune with a colony of African Penguins. The boardwalks bring you close among the Penguins without disturbing their habitat. You may even wade or swim with them in designated areas.
The next stop will be a wine tasting at Groot Constancia, the oldest vinyard and winery in sub-Saharan Africa. Finally, enjoy a Portuguese style feast while watching the sun set at the Capman's Peak Hotel.
Day 6
April 16th, 2026 | Thursday
Robben Island with El and Sadiki
Prepare to be inspired at historic Robben Island. You will be taken by Ferry to the site of Nelson Mandela’s imprisonment with other political prisoners from the African National Congress. You will by guided by former freedom fighters who were also imprisoned there, and learn the stories first hand. El and Sadiki personally look forward to sharing this experience with you.
A special dinner will be prepared for you at the Green Orchid restaurant.
Day 7
April 17th, 2026 | Friday
Friday is Braai Day!
Enjoy a second free day, where the Vida Nova Retreat Concierge can help you plan another adventure (your adventure cost is not included), but be back at the Hotel in time to learn about the Braai, traditional South African cooking over fire. The chefs at the Vida Nova Retreat have a show planned for you, where you will learn the local tricks of the trade. Assist this “Braaimaster” if you wish, and then sit down and enjoy a variety of delicacies..
Day 8
April 18th, 2026 | Saturday
Departure Day
Enjoy relaxing on the Vida Nova Retreat grounds until it is time to depart. If you are going home, you will be transported to the airport. If you are staying to discover Kruger Park with Vida Nova Kruger, you will be transported to your scheduled flight.
