Helping one child at a time.
This Children's Day tour will take you though the beauty of Mozambique, arriving in the capital city of Maputo with the vibrance and energy of Africa. You will be meet at the Maputo Dock and Transfered by boat to Santa Maria. Enjoy taking in the surroundings while on the water while traveling out to the Machangulo Reserve. Spending your days helping the community, relaxing on the beach while whale watching, snorkeling, biking riding and so much more. Finally, at the end of your trip experience the Elephants, spending the day in the park will allow Africa to Transform you.

Itinerary
DAY 1
May 27th, 2025
Arrive in Maputo airport in the morning in Mozambique. You will be meet at the Maputo Dock and Transfered by boat to Santa Maria.
Day 2
May 28th, 2025
Breakfast will be provided at your assigned Villa, followed by a free day to enjoy our exclusive 15-mile semi-private beach. Fishing, diving, and other activities can be arranged at individual expense, subject to availability. All are invited to help serve the local mozambican community and prepare for children's day.
Day 3
May 29th, 2025
Free day to enjoy our exclusive 15-mile semi-private beach. Fishing, diving, and other activities can be arranged at individual expense, subject to availability. All are invited to help serve the local mozambican community and prepare for children's day.
Day 4
May 30th, 2025
Free day to enjoy our exclusive 15-mile semi-private beach. Fishing, diving, and other activities can be arranged at individual expense, subject to availability. All are invited to help serve the local mozambican community and prepare for children's day. Dinner will be served at the Monarch Villa.
Day 5
May 31st, 2025
Community Day
Engage in meaningful activities that provide essential resources, such as educational support and meals for families in need. Together, we can make a positive impact and help build a brighter future for this vibrant community. Be part of the change and experience the warmth of Machangulo!
Day 6
June 1st, 2025 is Children's Day,
Party with the local community. You will be guests of honor at a party to which the entire local community is invited. Breakfast will be served at your assigned Villa. At noon you will be transported to the community party in Santa Maria, at which you will be able to take pride in having participated in providing a nourishing meal for everyone who comes to the party, including many who are struggling to obtain adequate nourishment, including the community’s children and underemployed. Local dancers and musicians will provide entertainment. Shaded seating will be provided for our guests, along with tapas food, and cold drinks. A bonfire will be lit at dark, and later you will be transported back to your assigned villa.
Day 7
June 2nd, 2025
Free day to enjoy our exclusive 15-mile semi-private beach. Fishing, diving, and other activities can be arranged at individual expense, subject to availability. All are invited to help serve the local mozambican community.
Day 8
June 3rd, 2025
Transportation by boat or 4X4 through the Elephant Preseve will be arranged for your flight back to the United States or to your add-on a Safari at Vida Nova Kruger. PLEASE ASK US HOW
