South Africa Cycling Bike Tour

Day 1

ARRIVE | CAPE TOWN , SOUTH AFRICA

Travelers are greeted at the airport and transported to Hout Bay, Staying at the Vida Nova Retreat. Enjoy unwinding at the Retreat and meeting your guides for the week.

DAY 2

TABLE MOUNTAIN |CAPE TOWN

Leaving the Vida Nova Retreat the well-positioned boutique hotel will have us riding up the back side of Table Mountain from Constancia Neck. When arriving at Table Mountain, we will be taking the cable car up to the top to take in the idyllic views. Things that we will see along the way.

• Cannons and the Blockhouse

After the cable car enjoy a wonderful meal at Tiger's Milk. After a fun-filled day relax at the Vida Nova Retreat, book an appointment at the Disa Spa, or relax by the pool.

DAY 3

STELLENBOSCH | WINE COUNTRY

Enjoy a full day riding through South Africa's Wine Country. Take in the beautiful sites on your bike. Stopping for lunch and wine tasting at Starke-Conde. Not being able to leave Africa without experiencing the wildlife we will be taking a tour of the Cheetah Outreach rescue facility. End your day back at the retreat enjoying a gourmet dinner at the Vida Nova Retreat.

DAY 4

CAPE POINT | CHAPMAN’S PEAK

Rise and Shine we are going be starting at 8 am to get a full day in of riding the South African Coast. We will be riding along the coast, past misty cliffs to Cape Point, Riding the iconic coastline of Chapman's Peak, taking in the coastal views. Take a break or hike to the top of the cliff the choice is yours.

The next stop is Penguin Beach, where you can experience these little birds and the beautiful beach before being taken to the Oldest Vineyards in Africa the Groot Constancia. Enjoying the rest of the day with friends, returning to the Vida Nova Retreat.

DAY 5

PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Another early morning to take in all that South Africa has to offer, we will be traveling by bus to the Garden Region of South Africa also known as Route 62 to experience a private game drive but we are making time to get some mileage in on the way. Experiencing the wildlife at sunset will amaze you having the ability to see the Big 5. We will be staying overnight at the reserve.

DAY 6

RIDE | GARDEN ROUTE

Today we will be riding the beautiful Garden Route , after a day of wildlife yesterday , we will be enjoying a ride from Montagu to Ladismith and then driving to Klaartroom. Staying the night at the Klaarstroom hotel enjoying what the area has to offer and having a Traditioinal Braai Dinner and evening of recreation.

DAY 7

SWARTBERG PASS

Experience the Swartberg pass on bike this beautiful mountain range is the perfect terrian for cycle enthusiasts. After cycling for the morning ,we will spend the rest of the day siteseeing the Kanga Caves and experience the regions love for Ostrich's at a local Ostrich Ranch. Dinner at will be served at Klaarstroom with an option to experience a local hotspot.

DAY 8

KLAARSTROOM | MOSSEL BAY

Wake up and ride from the Klaarstroom hotel ,we will start are morning with a 30 K loop before making our way to Mossel Bay. When there we will have Lunch in Mossel Bay aftering we have plans to take a Gin Making class. Spending the night at Protea by Marriott.

DAY 9

MOSSEL BAY

Non Riding Day. Experience all Mossel Bay has to offer ,choose from a varitey of activities like relaxing at Santos Beach, Zip-lining over the ocean and for the most adventures Shark Cage Diving. Returning to in the late afternoon to return to the Vida Nova Retreat.

Day 10

HOUT BAY | VIDA NOVA RETREAT

Non- Riding day, Waking up at the Vida Nova Retreat for your last day. Enjoy rest and relaxation by the pool before you take your flights home.
